1. How do I get an appointment?
Call our main number 472-6515 Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm for additional information or to arrange an appointment. You may also leave a message on the answering service after office hours.



2. What kind of information will I be asked to provide?
A trained intake worker will ask your name, age, and the details of your concern or problem. Certain demographic information is required for statistical and funding purposes. 3. How much does it cost?
While most of our services are free, some have a fee. The intake worker will inform you if there are any fees for the particular service you need. Most fees are flexible, and payments can be negotiated.



4. Is this confidential?
Counsellors are strictly bound by professional codes of conduct. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of a professional counselling service. However, like other professionals we are sometimes legally or ethically required to report information. Otherwise, your signed authorization is necessary before any information can be released. You can also make special arrangements regarding the confidentiality of mail or telephone contacts. At all times, we strive to serve your best interests and right to privacy. 5. How long does it take to get an appointment?
We strive to get you the help you need as soon as possible. We will assess your situation and coordinate your services based on your needs and current demand. If your situation changes or worsens, please let us know.



6. How do I know if you can help me?
The intake worker will assess your needs and refer you to a particular service. If we cannot help you, we will tell you at that time, and provide you with information and/or refer you to other resources in the community.
