The Community Support Advocacy Program is available to individuals over the age of 3 with cognitive delays acquired during their formative years of development, who have a need for advocacy, trusteeship, or independent living skills. Services include emotional support to help empower individuals and their families to advocate on their own behalf; accessing and coordinating community services; locating suitable accommodations; accessing funding; and providing money management skills or trusteeship.
Residential Placement Advisory Committee A volunteer review committee, supported by a coordinator, ensures that children who are in professional residential care receive the best planning for their needs. This review includes all children up to 1 years of age in institutional placements in Northeastern Ontario.
