ReKnew(PAR) Program
Program Overview
ReKnew(PAR) Program is a 12-week, gender-inclusive program designed for individuals who are ready to take accountability for abusive, controlling, or harmful behaviours in their intimate relationships. Whether you’ve been referred through a court order or Probation & Parole, the ReKnew(PAR) Program offers a structured Psych-Education and supportive environment to foster meaningful change. Through individual Men’s and Women’s programs.
Understanding that the beliefs and behaviours we learned growing up may no longer align with healthy, respectful partnerships, this program invites participants to:
- Reflect on and challenge outdated or harmful beliefs
- Relearn non-violent communication and emotional regulation strategies
- Recommit to building equitable, caring, and respectful relationships
ReKnew(PAR) Program is open to all genders, 18 years and older, and provides a compassionate, trauma-informed space for growth and transformation.
Referral Context
You may have been referred to the ReKnew(PAR) Program as a condition of a court order or by Probation & Parole after being charged with or found guilty of a domestic violence offence. Our goal is not to shame, but to support your journey toward accountability and relational change.
Partner Support
Recognizing the impact on those who have experienced harm, the ReKnew(PAR) Program also provides confidential support for partners and former partners of program participants. This includes:
- Individual support
- Information and referrals to community resources
- Personalized safety planning
ReKnew(PAR): Reassess. Relearn. Rebuild.
This is your opportunity to unlearn what no longer serves and to renew your knowledge in pursuit of safer, healthier relationships.
